Ukrainian Engineers' Society Attends 27th Annual Verkhovyna Youth Festival

This year the 27th Annual Verkhovyna Ukrainian Youth Festival was back in the green mountains of Glen Spey, New York. The Ukrainian American Cultural Foundation is working hard to modernize the facilties so that future generations of Ukrainian-Americans can continue to enjoy the property.

The Ukrainain Engineers' Society of America decided to hold a small fundrasing effort to help support the Ukrainian American Cultural foundation's efforts to rebuild the resort. The Society set up a booth which in addition to having information about the organization had high quality, 100% cotton white polo shirts emblazed with the UESA or "TYIA" logo, the Society's web site address, and our new slogan - "Your link to the future" The Society will donate all the profits from the sale of the shirts at the Festival to the UACF.

The booth at the Festival was a complete success entirely to the efforts of Wasyl Kinach, his brother Mykola Kinach and their niece Catherine Anderson. In addition to selling the shirts, the Kinachs distributed several applications and UESA informational pamphlets. Thanks to their efforts, several young professionals learned more about UESA.
