2004 Pre Post Labor Day Zabava On Friday, October 1st, the New York City UESA chapter held a "Pub Night" at the Karpaty Pub, formerly known as Lys Mykyta, in New York City's East Village.  The pub night provided an opportunity for friends and friends of friends to get together in a completely casual atmosphere. The pub night also allowed friends who had diverging plans for the following Saturday night (the Post Labor Day Zabava had the unfortunate, but very "Ukrainian" timing to be in direct conflict with another Ukrainian event being held the same night in New Jersey) to meet and socialize.
